Fratelli Home Manufacturing Co. completed the overall home furnishing project for Hotel Hillock in India. This project lasted for 10 months and included 327 custom-made products such as crystal chandeliers in the lobby, vintage brass staircase railings, French carved dining tables, and guest room decorative mirrors. It successfully combined the architectural aesthetics of 19th-century French Indochina with the functions of a modern resort hotel, becoming a benchmark case for the company in the South Asian market.
Philosophy of Cultural Integration in Design
The design team extracted elements such as arcades and palm leaf patterns from the local colonial buildings. Using Fratelli’s patented “double-color gilding casting technology”, they presented the symbiotic relief of peacocks and iris flowers on the staircase railings. In the 8-meter-high main hall space, the hanging crystal chandeliers are designed in a modular assembly, restoring the intricate beauty of the Versailles palace lamps while meeting the special requirements of the high-temperature environment in India for the metal’s expansion coefficient.
This collaboration marks the substantive implementation of Fratelli’s “Eastern Craftsmanship, Global Delivery” strategy. As the Mumbai showroom enters the construction phase, the company will continue to deepen its presence in the high-end hotel market in the Asia-Pacific region, promoting an innovative dialogue between French-style home aesthetics and local culture.
